I have a problem with my void head and i don't get why.
As you can see in this 2 pictures the head looks deformed and decentrede
i use maya 2014 and i've never expected something like this.i skinned the head to every posible bone ,deleting history and non deformer history ,freezing and reseting transformation and still nothing.i even replaced my model with the default model and then deleted the default and still same thing.
My model has the neck edges like the default so it shouldn't have holes and stuff.
if anyone have any ideea how to solve this porblem i would be very thanksfull:poly142:

ps: my model verticies from neck are snaped to the default verticies so the problem is not there
You'll need to weight the vertices along the join with the body with EXACTLY the same values as the body mesh has for those verts, otherwise you'll get seams when it deforms.
This is how i do the skinning:
delete deformer and non deformer history for all, freze and reset the transformation for my mesh, select mesh+joint and bind skin with this options
and export selection(only mesh) as fbx
do this:
1 delete history
2 skin>smooth bind> and select "bind to: joint hierarchy"
3 select original head and with Shift your head
4 skin>edit smooth skin>copy skin weights
