Anyone else going to this? It's a workshop that lasts a few days with tons of sweet artists that will be having classes. I'm pretty excited!
Has anyone been to one of these before, and if so, anything you'd recommend bringing? I'm thinking of getting an iPad and putting together a portfolio of concept art for the portfolio reviews. I also need to make some business cards...fast.

Only was lucky enough to go to the Made workshop a few years back in Berlin and it was really worth the money to see these guys share their knowledge
My lodging's about 2 miles from the venue so if anyone's up for drinks the night before the workshop that would be super

Yeah, it also looks like the reunion of the original guys minus the founders (unless their some dramatic bromance reconciliation side event cooked up :poly141:).

The headliner dudes, koro, chan, Noxizmad...I've seen enough of their painting demos :poly124: But I think Sam Brown has new techniques and Kemp is generous with input (based on people who took his online course).
Kim Jung Gi vs. Marko D. in a drawing battle ala the old Thunderdomes...nobody's gonna miss that!
Man...I'd spend more time networking and getting gigs if you have your physical portfolio with you. A lot of the art demos by many of the "name" artists are already on youtube and vimeo.
This is what I plan on doing. I'm looking for a new job right now, so I'm bringing a stack of business cards and my portfolio on an iPad. I realize it's going to be mostly concept artists, but it can't hurt.
First day of talks was awesome by the way! Already looking forward to next year!

If anyone else is interested, when you first enter the building (where you got your bracelets) take a left in that corner there. I'll be wearing black everything haha. We meet at 12ish. I'll be checking out Kekai's thing this morning! And then I'm not too sure...and then finally Fightpunch at the end of the day
