3D Artist (m/f) - Realtime
Even before the prototype is finished our Content Production teams will start visualizing the customers product communication with an attention to detail that makes it impossible to distinguish the visualization from the real thing. As part of the Realtime department you get involved in the creation of content for configurators and interactive trade shows, both realtime and web.
Job Responsibilities:
_Defining the quality of the surfaces in respect of the realtime application
_Programming the logic behind a configurator
_Lighting the exterior and interior of cars
_Defining materials and creating shaders based on material samples and texture scans
_Defining render layers (passes) and pass rendering
_Creating animations
_Ensuring the defined product correctness and output's quality
Requirements:
_Preferably an educational background in media/game design or similar specialization as well as previous work experience
_Good skills in Maya, 3ds Max or other 3D software
_Preferably basics in Mental ray, Turtle or V-Ray
_Experience with C# and JavaScript is a plus
_Being not only an artist, structured and well organized work is a key issue
_Ability to quickly adjust to new and different processes and workflows
_Good sense for optical visualization
_Self-reliant, solution-oriented way of working with outstanding team skills
_Fluent in English, German language skills are an advantage
