We are currently in need for some 3D Artists. We currently use some stock art which should be replaced and there are a bunch of new models to be created.

The current vacancies:

3D Character Artist
Your main task will be modelling characters (Player and NPCs) and monsters. Moreover you will take of the accessoires for all characters, mostly things like weapons (swords, axes, bows) and armor, helmets, etc. . Being able to animate these models is a definite plus but not mandatory. General workflow will include concept art, which the models are based on. If you can do the concept art yourself, even better.

3D Environment Artist
Your main task will be modelling the world and all stuff which is in. Environments in general include forest, rocky environment and dungeons. We work with the Unity Engine, so being able to do some level design and deliver the models in a full composited is a big plus, but not mandatory.

Application
Just send us a mail to: info (at) elements-of-ice-and-fire.com or use the form at: http://www.elements-of-ice-and-fire.com/ . Please include a link to your portfolio as we won't hire any artist who doesn't have one.

Finance

This is remote work, so you generally get paid per model or per order. An order might include a bunch of models.

We do have some initial funding and hope to run a successfull kickstarter. So we need some models now, and some in the near future. Since we prefer to work with the same people to achieve a consistent art style please only apply if you are available for work in the next 3 months.

Currently we are offering two payment methods:

1. Full payment upon completion
Pretty easy, you get paid, when the work is done.

2. Split payment
For the kickstarter campaign we need some art we can show off. So for a few models we are looking for an artist who is willing to work for a small upfront payment. You will get fully paid when the funding through kickstarter is secured. Since you are helping us out with this a lot, we are willing to pay more per model than with option (1).

Please include in your application for which payment method you are up to.

I think that's it. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me!

Regards,
Chris
