When is a good time to merge the different subtools for body topology ?
I merge the tools when I feel comfortable with the overall silhouette and I have my major muscle and bony landmarks in place. The goal is to do
a good portion of the thinking in the initial block in so that afterwards its a simple job of filling in muscle details and secondary forms.
Super nitpick:
To critic the model, does that eye patch/thing fit on his eye ball - looks mighty close.
Thanks man! And yea, now that you mention it, it is very close. The problem is that too much bigger and his head gets lost from the isometric perspective that MOBA games use. Originally the goggle was made right on top of the eye using a cylinder, so I know it fits, but I think that a combination of perspective and the camera angle makes it look the wrong size. I will play with it though! Thanks for noticing!
