Hello.
It's been a few years since my last visit to polycount forums. Today I found my old account with this silly username, so I thought it won't hurt to create a sketchbook thread.
So let it be. Critique appreciated.
I've been working on a project for some time now. I did two sculpts for it, the first one didn't work out for me, so I decided to do a new one.
Here's the first sculpt, sorry for low-resolution.
The new one was better, so I gone further with it. Here's the latest render of it.
It's far from finished, and I don't really know if I'm going to finish it at all.
If anybody is interested I can post some older stuff.

do you render all these in zbrush? i just can't figure out how to render background in zbrush, any advice?
Under the Lights tab there's a "Background" tab, or under the "Document" tab you can change background colours.

Later on start building your first human skeleton, bone by bone. Then cover it with muscles. You'll reach the point where it'll be about iteration and a lot of work.
Early skin shader. I need to fix lips and nose area. Let the fun part begin (:
Slowly progressing with the skin material, still a lot of work has to be done.
So I had some time today to try a new method of building a skin shader.
I've deleted two previous pics, since they were really terrible. So there's a new version of skin shader. Sorry for low-res picture, I might post some high-res pics soon.
Did a fast sculpt, inspired by Scott Eaton's Orge design.
