Hi there! been browsing this forum for quite a while. and time for me to dump some stuff in here. All is gonna be for the game we are developing and im the one doing all the assets and art.
This is a open thread so i'm doing this to get feedback and suggestions on everything so when/if you have an opinion or thought please feel free to drop it and i will try to respond.

so here are some work in progress screengrabs from maya:
a work in progress animation for one of the arms. the game will boast a load-out of different attachments to the body such as legs, arms, headplates, shields, steamexhausts and so on!
a paintover of how its going to look ingame when lighting and post processing is done for the engine.

Also, at least let the poor guy hold it properly; when you try to go all gangsta-style with a crossbow the bolt just falls out of the groove and everybody laughs.
If you're going for robot-vs-robot combat, you might want to include picks & hammers as weapons; they are really better at removing the hard outer shell than traditional blades.
there are swords coming and spears later on.
