A Hero concept for Axe as a Rockstar

It's been my vision for a while to get a hero set for axe up in the workshop. He's just such a manly hero with such a manly beard. He doesn't afraid of anything and he runs in and chops people to death especially with this new culling blade buff.

I wanted a Rock star type set where his axe is literally an electric guitar which is commonly called an axe. When he culling blades someone, instead of blood coming out, musical notation particle effects comes out in different colors.

Oh and this set will definitely need a taunt using the guitar.

As appealing as the idea is, I'm gonna need to warn you that the pop references might not be very well received on the Steam Workshop.

It all depends on how you decide to execute the concept of course, but in general you should try to stay away from modern technology (though not modern style) when submitting.

I don't actually know what you intend to do since you havent actually shown a concept, so I might be completely off base. A darksiders inspired electric guitar, jacket and belt for e.g. might work, but if you make it look exactly like the images you posted above i'm afraid your work will just be considered incompatible with Dota 2 and just thrown out.

Well, I think people might join if there's a specific SFM animation project going on. Even then, this is more in the realm of TF2, don't you think so?

Are you a modeler yourself or is this just an idea you had and want someone else to make? If you're looking for an artist to make this unfortunately I don't think you'll have much luck. We're trying to make money with our items and there's pretty much no chance something this wacky will be added into the store.

I mean the shapee that guitar could make a kind of cool sillouhette for an axe, and as far as you only get inspired by the costumes and make them more... metally and armor-ish this could work out...

Without a concept is hard to say. I loved your idea but be careful to don't break dota 2 style.

well, i'm terrible at modeling, texturing, concept art, etc

i can do them but you really don't want me to

i was hoping to get some help, i'm not really interested in making money on this but making money would be nice
