Hello, my name's Sohaib, this is my first thread in polycount, I'm a beginner trying to improve himself, this is my first work, I'd really appreciate feedback.
Low poly : 3DS Max

High poly (in progress) : ZBrush

Note that this is my first work, so mistakes and imperfect work is something expected.
Thank you for your time, have a nice day.

I'd say it's probably a little early for ZBrush, especially with this being a robot. Lots of hard surfaces there and Max excels at that.
Keep posting your progress
I'm trying to make like look like a Tron with pinky lights and shit, Idk if i can get the job done, but I'll do my best, I'll keep you updated
Edit:
The low poly is now UV mapped, still working on perfecting it
Any advice would be appreciated
So I have a few things to critique about:
1) Your HP looks very edgy (looks like you made some wrong supporting edges)
2) Your HP lacks a lot of details: at the moment it's too simple to attract attention
3) Your LP is really highpoly actually. A lot of unnecessary Polys...
4) Your uv-layout is super uneffective (think about filling holes etc.
Keep it up and don't give up
Imagine this
In shape of my robot, with emissive map and shit, there's a chance of 60% that I fail, but failing is better than not even trying, right?
my current challenge is making a decent normal map, looks like I'm gonna re UV Map my low poly.
Stay tuned
