With the opening of the Australian version of Kickstarter over the last few days, we've had a bit of an explosion of campaigns. One of the more interesting ones is Sprite Lamp, a tool for dynamically lighting 2d assets and sprites. It also looks like it'll be enormously useful for generating normal and parallax texture maps from 2d sources.

It's only a little way from it's $6,000 goal and seems like it'd be well worth throwing some cash behind.
Probably should make it clear that I don't have any vested interests here, I just think it's a nifty piece of tech and it'd be good to see a local developer do well.
