Been a while since I have made an actual thread so here ya go. Starting off on this guy and tis time to block out some armor\accesories and jazz. Will try to keep this as updated as possible as well as documenting my process via youtube. Cheers.

Avs lost tonight so I had to drown my sorrows in some zBrush. Got some of the armor blocked out and now to do some planning for the rest of the body. Cheers.

A belt - possibly a length of rope - would work well here. The trousers can be fairly loose except where they are gathered by the belt, leaving some bunching around the belt.

Tattered or frayed cloth on the pants, and possibly a patch or two, would also add visual interest.

Looking really nice so far! One small thing which stood out to me was the symmetry of the veins on his hands, could benefit from a small change on one of them I think.

I like how the colors are desaturated. Makes him feel a tad older matching the jaw and wrinkle scheme. I really like the first bracer you had for him.

Thanks for the feedback Dimfist. I am thinking about redesigning the bracer tonight to make the armor a bit more cohesive, but I was also exploring the idea of different armor types, as if he had just found awesome armor throughout his years on the battlefield and just picked up and used what he liked.

Great work liking the face, if you don't mind me asking what's on his left arm?
Also the scratch on the shoulder armor looks to clean, I doubt it would hit all those pieces the same.

looking really cool nice texture work on the skin so far! could do with a little bit more color variation in the face around the eyes and nose/mouth but its looking really ace so far!
