Gryffindor Boy's Dorm

Hey guys,
I've been working on making a UDK scene of the Gryffindor Boy's dorm from Harry Potter and I through it's time I gathered up my courage and shared it with you fine folk.
I'll be the first to admit that I'm making this up and learning as I go along, so any feedback would be most welcome!

Iv'e got about a dozen images, most unfortunately from the Harry Potter exhibit rather then screenshots, but these two capture the gift of the look I"m going for.
It's been hard trying to find good reference for the boy's dorm that's directly from the movies!

First pass Block in:

Here's the first pass block in, taken while standing in the doorway. I'm not really happy with the roof yet, and I'll probably fidget with that for a second pass.

Thoughts?

Looking good so far, scale is done well. I like Harry potter, so I'll be interested to see this finished!

It's been a while but I finally found some time to start fleshing some of it out.
I started with the trunks.
Since it's my first time doing anything like this, I thought I'd stop and ask for feedback before continuing to poke at it.

The case's handle is far too angular; it really should be curved. The other hardware - clasps & lock - aren't really well defined. This image is the closest I could find to your design:

Dwalker: Thanks for the feedback! You're right about the handle!
Looprix: hm, I haven't even thought much about the lighting, is that bad?

Here's an update to the handle. I haven't touched the metal on the corners of the trunk yet. Hopefully the clasps holding the handle are coming off a little better defined!
