Have you considered adding a faint mist to the base of the waterfall? I'm not certain how that would work with the watercolor effect of the scene, but it's worth a shot.
I'd either move or remove the second barrel; its current placement next to its neighbor seems a bit forced.
The color of the grass in the foreground is a bit arbitrary; I'd expect a more gradual transition between the green & yellow grass.
Adding a bit of orange or red to the skylight might highlight the dawn/dusk feel.
I'm not seeing any shadows; the scene looks to be lit primarily by an ambient light.
