Here's the final piece!
So yeah. That trailer, PHEW. Needless to say I was more than a LITTLE sweaty by the end. So ready for this new expansion that I just had to try and whip something up. Those boys and girls at blizzard really know how to light the fires of inspiration.
ANYWAYS. Here's a concept I've been doodlin up all day. It's supposed to be something along the lines of a mixture between a shrine and a forge/anvil or some sort. Hoping to have it come into this universe by the end of the weekend. We'll see though!

It mostly reads like a forge, but I can see it being used as a shrine. I could see Kargath Or Bladefist using this for their weapons
I think the colors for each surface are rather monochromatic and lack some subtle light bounce from the neighboring objects. You've got it from the furnace areas but missed it in the metal near the stones.
Pushing your highlights on the metal also will help separate them visually as a different material from the stone. If you grey scale it - it looks like the entire thing could be made from stone.
Gannon: Thanks so much for the critique. After reading what you and a few of my friends had to say about the material definition, I went in and painted the highlights to a much more metallic standard. Hope that helps to set it apart from the stone steps and mount.
