Neon Falls, spare time Unity game

After lurking the unity forum and the wiki for a while, I figured it was time to show off this thing. After playing far too many easy games on my iPhone, I decided to make my own more difficult one.

Here is some gameplay, done with a 360 controller which makes it easier than intended. It was balanced for mobile touchscreens. On mobile, you tap the left and right side of the screens, and the middle to pop up. On a stick you have a ton more air control.

Good kinesthetic feedback was the goal, and I am pretty happy with the result. Gameplay and art wise, its pretty much done. There are some platform considerations to deal with, so not 100% I suppose.

Feedback is welcome! Also, if you find prototyping interesting, I have a tumblr at www.nothingantimatters.com.

I have had a chance to play this game myself and I can tell you it has found that sweet spot between aggravating frustration and addictive "I can do better" gameplay. Simply difficult is pretty spot on for describing this game. It’s a simple idea with good delivery and gameplay. I am not the hugest fan of the art style, but you are too busy trying to stay alive to really notice it, and the chaotic nature of the art style reinforces the frustration and anxiety felt well playing the game.

    Great job man.
