Anybody know the best way to display an object with decals in 3ds max viewport?
I'm using 2012, but the decal w/ alpha seems to be z-fighting with the object.
If you're trying to prevent zfighting the only thing I can really suggest is to just move the decal a tad bit away from the surface it's fighting with. If you're taking this into an engine maybe just have to view it there. If you're using UDK this might be helpful http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/UsingDecals.html
