Hi all,
I wanted to introduce you to PlayCanvas. Our cloud-based 3D game development platform. PlayCanvas is a collaborative game development tool which means you can work in real-time, remotely with anyone in the world. Perfect for online communities like PolyCount! Our intro video explains it better than I can.

Anyway, I'm posting here because we've had real success getting programmers up and running and using the platform. We've made
games, and our users are making
cool games and sharing them with each other.
But a lot of it is programmer art and we really want to stress the art pipeline. It would
amazing if some of you could sign in to PlayCanvas and throw in some of your work and give us some feedback on what your experiences are.
We have a simple starter kit for creating a model viewer, which requires no programming. So you can add a model and animation and publish it. However, if you've got a friend who knows a little javascript, we've also got a full animation system, plus physics engine and the works, you could be making a full game. :-)
By default you get public projects, but you probably don't want your artwork available in public. In the project settings, you can choose "Private Assets" which will prevent your models being available to download.
Any feedback is gratefully received:

Thanks

I have not tried the tools yet but they look good. You have me intrigued!
We've all come from the console games industry so we're worked really hard to make it run super-fast.
I've never tried it on Surface though. It's good to hear that it's working well!
