Update for this character, not getting as much time to work on him as I would have liked so progress is a little slow. Still lots to do on the HP, and please disregard hair it is just a stand in.
Some detail shots..
Any comments are most appreciated, and thanks for looking :poly121:
Hey guys! I think I am about ready to call this character done. Really had a lot of fun and it was a great learning experience (especially about how hard hair can be). Any and all comments are welcome, and would love to hear some feedback to help improve for future projects. Thanks!
I don't know why you haven't gotten any comments yet for this yet, some very solid work. The only thing that stuck out a little bit for me was the guitar model, I feel like it could have used more polygons around the body, as it looks a bit low poly especially in comparison to your smooth character.

Thanks for you comments, and yeah absolutely agree. Pretty silly of me actually to overlook that when I had no real polygon restrictions on this piece. Might go back and smooth it out.
Hey guys, here is an image dump of my Green Arrow Comicon entry. Hope you guys like it, and would love some feedback to help me improve for the future. Thanks!
lol yeah, I don't usually unwrap faces like that, but I saw this method in a skin painting tutorial so I thought I would give it a try. Even though it was strange, it did allow me to get better resolution on the face when compared to the neck and back of the head. And because I was using mudbox to paint texture I don't think I got any seam errors.

Yeah i would be inclined to agree, I was just testing the unwrap style this one time. Probably wont be using it again.
