Have had this thing in my head for some time. Decided to make into a design.
The idea was to make it look as if it can be built with your everyday left over pipes and shoes.
When pressing the right (near camera) lever, the spray can will be raised up and pressed into the angled T-section. Once the right lever is pressed, the left lever needs to be pressed to open an "internal" valve in the front nozzle. And when your gas can is empty, simply pull it out of the spring clamp and push up a new one!
I kind of made this thread a bit late into the modelling, I can still make minor changes in additional details, improved details and even some scaling to an extent, so I'm open to suggestions, chicken, rice and crits. Aw hell, I might even do bigger changes if they seem cool enough!
I'm quite nervous as my mentor in foods and love, Pedro, will be watching this thread and ask for more food pics. He already taunted me for using a rice cooker...
Much love! Here is the progress so far!

What colour scheme did you have in mind?
Almighty: I probably should have added a bit bigger space between the spray can and the angled t-section.
Bek: Thanks!
EDIT: The things below here is a summary of the work!
ROUND 1
Rendering with Xoliul2. Early material test, didn't have a good idea on what type I was going for. The brass for instance looks like fake gold, a bit like my smile when I'm given a well done steak.
It's quite clear I didn't work on my base materials enough, with the first time using gloss maps, I didn't really know how to control them. Dem crazy times!
Only thing that worked here was perhaps the gloss on the bent pipe.
ROUND 1.5
This is kind of a middle step, I was trying to create a dirty cast iron look, which was fine. The problem was that it really didn't look like cast iron when you turned it around. The speckle, which you see in cast iron fittings, should/could be in the normals to give height from all view directions. I added the speckle in gloss, which made it look like a gray pipe from the FPV.
ROUND 2
Switched over to marmoset! Gas cylinder in a "omg! I'm adjusting-my-girdle and you accidentally caught me" - moment. But you have to show the ugly sides too! Was fiddling around with what marmoset could do. Being on a trial, I had to work deep into the Sk
I'll try and add the glass to the gauge and update this pic, and a few more angles of it later.
Texture sheet(dat compression!)
Would like to see wires on the final model and possibly seeing as it's a flamer, you could do an action shot of it with some fire and chicken :P
You did good!
Now get me some roast chicken!
