ZbrushPains . ZTL all greyed out

Hi guys , I think I pressed some hotkeys i didnt realize, now my one particular Ztool is all greyed out (can see only grey silhouette).

Ive checked the materials, colors and render is set to preview. wont even show wireframe on ployframe mode. Please help

    It's something to do with the Layer palette- you may have a duplicate Layer. I had this happen once, but I never figured it out unfortunately. IIRC I just had to reboot zbrush.

    rebooting Zbrush isnt helping. . I did find a way around it though , I append subtools from here to another .ztl, and continued working (which is ok if u dont have many subtools). . .anything I import in this file gets greyed out too. . .and I will check the layer thing. . thanks

    You've filled your canvas with which ever color you had selected. Apply a different color or material to each of your subtools and it should fix itself, or remove/delete the color from your subtool.
