Hi everyone! I started working on a simple shyguy character today, and I started with the mask. I placed the holes for his eyes and his mouth and then started to make the rest of his mask going from there. I also made an half-sphere that has the desired shape for his mask as a guide, but now I find myself moving all the vertices from the "detailed mask" by hand to match the shape of the "desired shape mask" and I'm pretty sure there must be some way to accelerate the process.
I guess my question is: In Max, do I have any way to get the vertices from one object to match the shape of another object? Hopefully this screenshot helps.

Also seem to remember having used projection modifier for that purpose, though can't get it to work or find the files where I used it to do that.
