Zbrush Noob question here. I have an issue when trying to deform my mesh with a radial symmetry. It doesnt seem to be deforming with the mesh normals, but with the camera view.
Any ideas?
Thanks alot
Try cloning it. Go to the clone tool, click deformation > unify.
Then brush per usual with local sym on. If that works append it as a subtool back to your source and delete the original.
If all your subtools are pooched in global space, merge every subtool and clone and unify. Afterwards, split them up again using the split groups button.
If your brush is pooched, reset it to default (or clone it if its a specially modded brush and reset either copy). There's a "r" in brush selection screen if I recall correctly.
Actually sorry, I shouldve checked this first but its ok with a standard cylinder3d for example. Its an imported obj object so i`m wondering if its not position in world space correctly.
Anyway of checking that?

Not holding ALT no, that does the same effect but the opposite.
