for my portfolio I'll be making a vista and I'll try to do it in a hand painted style. I'll post some of my quick studies. Next week i'll be posting my final paint and start of 3D
Ok, so before I can continue my portfolio project I'm going to have to finish some school work.
For one asignment we got a 3D scene modeled and unwrapped and we had to make some color studies and then texture the scene with only a diffuse map.
The other asignment is that we need to create a very low poly character which is what I'm working on right now. I also did preproduction for that one and they chose the ninja Oh, yeah!
- To paint a sword. I didn't have a lot of time so, yeah... I definitely want to redo that one. (We got the model and unwrap and we had to make only diffuse)
- Paint an AK. Again, we got the model and could only use diffuse. I'm not finished with that one yet but I'll also hope to finish it soon.
A sketch of my vista, this was to get a feeling, didn't go wild on painting it cause I don't have time for it. Eventually I'll do an over-paint of my final block-out to get the color and mood going.
I then made a first block-out in max and after that I played around with the composition and placement of the objects.
