Hey Polycount,
I'm fairly new to modeling and I could use some help with rendering my personal logo. I mocked up this logo idea for a class a while back, and wanted to bring it into 3d.
My concept is pretty basic, a simple cube that has my initials [JL] in it. What I intend on doing is having strong rays of light shining through the glass from inside the cube, but I've been having some issues.
Modeled and rendered in 3ds Max. I tried experimenting with the material editor a bit and got some pleasing results with the glass, but definitely needs some work
Here is my progress so far.
I'm mostly looking for rendering advice, but critiquing the logo is still appreciated.
