New guy

Hi all,

Here is a little bit about me. I'm really new to the 3D modeling thing and I tried learning Zbrush a while back but I got frustrated with the whole interface and just stopped. So, I jumped back to 3DS Max and would occasionally dabble with Maya but it just felt so slow. I finally got the patience to revisit Zbrush and decided to buy a book because I felt everything on the net was too fragmented and disjointed. I guess I'm more old school, opting for a book that I can pace myself rather than follow online videos. Regardless, things are starting to click.

Long story short, I'm obsessed with this 3D stuff and want to get better. Being October I had to go with this idea I've had in my mind for a long time. I call him the pumpkin thief. My current goal is to try and stay within Zbrush only. I know it may not be the fastest method such as retopologizing in something like Topogun, but this is my way to force me to learn Zbrush. I still have a long way to go but thought I would share anyway.

Enjoy.
