World Machine no color map preview in 3d?

I seen screenshots of peoples color maps from WM in the 3d view which I cannot figure out how to do, which makes it 100 times slower when trying to figure out a good color map

No matter what ive tried, I cannot get it to preview the colors on the 3d view, any help would be great.

Nvm, i finally figured it out, I needed an overlay view.
