Sorry for the image spam! I might post some more sculpts later once i take some images :S
Congratulations on the successful submissions !!
pior - Thanks so much! Been a big fan of your work for years, can't wait to see what you bring to the workshop!
I just finished up a Death Prophet ult for this months challenge.
Screaming Skulls
*thumbs up*
Hawt Koffee - MDK got it right! Very old nice pack of zmats.
Here's a wip of a bear I'm working on, concept by sadies/rabies.
Finally an update for this guy, before I put this set on hold for some Chinese themed items! The Lowpoly for the spirit bear is done, the druid and trueform also have some work put into them.
Here's some marmoset grabs of the spirit bear bake for now.
Working on a Mirana mount for a set sadies/rabies is making based on the Qilin for the chinese new years event. She did the concept and is working on the rest of the set, I'm just doing the mount.
Nearly done with the sculpt, just need to tighten up and flesh out some areas as well as add some scales to the body. Hoping to finish this in the next day or so to move on to some other sets

This is a really good way to sink a concept fast. Spudnik has the right mindset about worrying about the anatomy, if only on the most basic level that an animator will have to deform the model and make that look believable.
There are also a handful other reasons, but I think there's also as many threads as reasons on polycount about why this is a bad mindset.
As for you latest update I think Spudnik on the right track when it comes to a lions idle pose. The position you've sculpted it has a nice "on the prowl" look.
[The Progress so far] ::
(1) Rigging is complete- Imported & tested within game. (2) First pass for the skinning seems to be holding up. Minor tweaks needed.
(3) First anim with the rig, so far. Could be used as a Portrait anim or in-game idle I suppose
[Hunter, I figured this would be a good place to post the updates. Let me know if there's somewhere else that works better]
Hey Heboltz3, Thanks for the boost! Glad ya dig it bud
Hi Sadies! Nice to meet ya You and Hunter did an outstanding job on creating a really appealing character!! It's been a pleasure getting into character & animating him
Thanks Hunter! I should have some extra time next week to pump out a few more anims:poly142:
Hey Adrien, always good to hear from ya man!
Nice first pass, looking forward to seeing what you come up with next
That's awesome Steve! He looks MEAN! Love the work done on the face! Can't wait to see more .
The mane is meant to be a bit poofy and stylized, but I did make some adjustments to the shape that hopefully work better.
Here's an update on the lowpoly with some early textures. Colors are mostly figured out, just needs a clean up and polish pass.
As an silly side, his face looks like it could be brothers with phantom lancer. :>
Here's how the final textures turned out:
I like the way the textures turned out on that set. Nice job Hunter:icon60:
Progress update #2
It's been slow going.
Work has been eating up a lot of my time, but
after the 22nd wraps up... I'll have more time for animating
[Spawn]
[Basic Attack]
[Out of range movement]
(sorry for the image spam. I'll make these smaller next time)
I figured the bear would be this good, but it's awesome seeing it exceed expectations!
One thing about the 'out of range animation' that i would like to suggest, i think you could make his head turn around, like he is lost and looking for his master

but anyway these animations already look soo great
