You guys are silly, it looks like an office. If you need your office to look like Chuck-E-Cheese's to be creative then I feel sorry for you. Even the chocolate factory becomes mundane when it's your 9 to 5.
lobbies and common areas are always nice but when it comes to the actual work space its just simplified shitty cubicles. only the executives get fancy office rooms lol.

i believe not even valve or blizzard has actual nice office rooms for all their devs.
agreed some of these look good in glossy pictures. but:
who thought it would be good to have workareas so open, you end up having a crowd moving around in your peripheral vision all the time. and while i do like the look and feel of hardwood floor at home - at work it's just noisy as hell.
and that place in berlin with the enourmous windows - i think you'll see people taping light blockers to their monitors in their first week there. try working on anything but lollipop-themed content with light like that.
my current work place has quite a nice work space but the massive windows do cause glare on our rediculously shiny macs! http://www.neonplay.com/studio-tour.html
There's no accounting for taste. Enjoy your cubicle farm I'll always prefer creative/interesting spaces.
I can appreciate a fancy studio as much as the next guy but once you guys start calling a standard office with open desks a sweat shop (those aren't cubicles) you begin to sound like a parody of a west coast twenty-something tech worker. Like the employees at LifeInvader in Grand Theft Auto V.
The office of Cyan Worlds is always a favorite of mine, I've got to wrangle up a tour one of these days. link to exterior
Tencent Boston/Stomp had cool offices too, which meant the artists were struggling to figure out how to block glare without upsetting the design asthetics :P
At least from a talk from an ex programmer at Adobe. It wasn't that great to work at (Seattle Campus). Always pressure for the next release, two weeks ago.
It was pretty interesting to see it looks sort of like the Mythic offices but with added statues and a shiny floor. Mythic has a Tardis now so that should add bonus points.
where are the actual work areas ?
all i see are lobbies and common areas, but from what i have heard is that the real work areas are actually boring modified cubicles, no real office rooms, etc.

What are we talking about? Top one looks like a prison converted into a sweat shop and the bottom pick looks like your average office.
As far as no drop cieling and exposed AC ducts, all the cool kids are doing that

Top one looks great. Looks like one of my laboratories on my Uni without all the equipment.
The thing is that the top one is way more spacious and brighter. I prefer having space and light.
Level 5 offices hands down

2nd place goes for Mojang, 3rd for Blizzard for the arcade cabinet and cow sign.
Also MM has a valid point, all the actual offices look kinda crap compared to the lobby/meeting rooms

Love it.
wow I love how everyone customizes their cubicle.

Nothing ups productivity like a quick siesta.
