Hey everyone. First timer on polycount here.
Does anyone know a simple (and preferably free) application where I can import OBJ models with Diffuse, Illumination, Normal channels and just navigate around like a FPS game ? Everything here is baked so rendering these takes less than a second, and my goal is just to place them around, create a huge city and fly through it like a missile.

Havok has a new product out called Project Anarchy. This would be perfect for that and includes a tone map filter that has motion blur. Best of all it is free fro ios, android, and tizen:

I feel like the polycount will be an issue as the map develops larger. This one is already 140k with 10 different 2048x maps and even this is a relatively small map with many repetitions. Considering the movement speed with be fast, theres not much to fly through here.
Are you sure Unity can handle this ?
