Well its been a long time since I have posted anything up here, so here is to new beginnings.
Here is a new creature I am modelling from

OK so small update from me, just got keyshot and couldn't resist trying it out. been working on refining the head area more, refining muscle and bone structure. there is alot of detail you cant see on those screenshots but o well
going to move onto refining the anatomy of the legs and give them the love they need know.
Can't have really anything to crit so i'll just sit and keep watching
On a side note: how are you finding Keyshot? i've seen some really diverse opinions on it and i don't really know if i want to pick it up
If I wanted to be picky, I'll say that the lower jaw on your model goes too forward compared to the concept.
I really can't see any other crit to give you
Fnitrox- Well i have not used it much, but honestly i think its really good so far, will see how it goes
Abrvpt- yep good call fixed it now
Here is a study i did, trying to learn more about rendering and presentation. Going to keep doing these studies since there alot of fun took about 4hours to sculpt it. Concept Leyendecker
Looks like he is very close to a wall, but at the same time there is no distortion. Is this shadow 2d? It looks like you just copy the character and paste in a darker color.
I expect something more like:
Kot_Leopold: Yeah it was a Zbrush render and later edited in photoshop.
fabio brasilien: Haha you got me there, I just took the mask, moved it and blur I tried to follow the concept as much as possible which is why its like that.
Well here is a BPR render of the sculpt and a GIF to show you how I actually sculpted it. You might not care but hey why not chuck it in anyways.
Have a good night.
I didn´t see the concept...sorry for that.
And again...Great work
