Hi guys, ran into a strange issue that I can't seem to figure out and find any references on. Little back ground, I took a 2d plane I made in my 3d program and exported it to Mudbox, I then sub divided it and upped the polys to around 4 million so I could sculpt out my terrain. After I finished that I exported the height map into world machine and detailed it and exported the new height map out, as well as the color map, AO map etc. I edited them in Photoshop and then when I was happy, I imported my height map back into Mudbox with the Color map to see how it looked and to sculpt a little bit of extra detail into the height map and just clean things up a bit and thats where I ran into problems at.
I got the height map into Mudbox by doing a "Maps, Sculpt using map" option and then having it use my height map to "sculpt" the 2d sub divided plane. That worked fine and my terrain that I created in World Machine looked the same.
Next I go to import the color map by going to the "layers tab, and with paint layers selected I did a "import layer" and selected my color map and made sure it was added as a diffuse texture. It processed it fine and applied it to my terrain but for some reason it only applied it to 75% of my terrain and left off the top and right side of the map. I tried using the original textures that I exported from World Machine which looked fine in WM and those did the same exact thing. I did a quick test in the CryEngine and it appears the texture was applied 100% to the terrain in the Cryengine so it's not an issue with the texture or the height map it would seem. But I just can't figure out whats going on in Mudbox to cause this. I checked the UV view to see how the texture looked there and it was applied perfectly in the UV field and covered the hole terrain. Anyone got any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I attached a picture below to show the issue, thanks
