So, I'm currently working on my new Portfolio piece.
I just finished the lowpoly bake and will start texturing today
here is the concept i used:

Looks like you did a good job following the concept. I think the coolest thing about this piece that will really help it stand out is the trim lighting effects and the shock type things.
Gona follow this one as I am interested to see it textured

my only complainment is that the Door has Circular holes in it. And yours are Squares.
Was that on purpose or?
The other thing is that it's holes and not dents.
Otherwise, cant wait too see where you take it!

: originaly I wanted to make holes, but the way I modeled it, it didnt really work out.
PS: now that u mentioned it, i could have just made floaters on both sides.
oh well
. next time
looking forward to texturing it

This is only the
DIFFUSE MAP
.
I finished about 75% of the diffuse map, just a little bit more to go.
The White paint will be more worn off looking tomorrow
What do u guys think of it, upon till now?

So I decided to place my shield into UDK and that's what I got
The Highres Image is on my Website.
Dont know why it resizes it to this small size :poly127:

Turned out good!
Yeah next time try with floaters on both sides.
The most important thing is that you acctually finished this piece from start to finish!
And hopefully learned a bit from it!
