Progression

Hi! I've been stalking these forums for quite some time now, and have finally began to get the ropes of Maya. I would love some critique and advise on my projects, and hopefully there will be some progression as this thread grows with updates. Any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated! Please just keep in mind I have only had solid experience with the program for a couple months. Everything is a WIP!

    I'm pretty shit myself so I shouldn't be giving critiques lol. Anyway, I think you have a lot of unnecessary faces on both models. Assuming you want to make these assets realtime for a game or something along those lines, you would want to try cutting back a lot.

    Overall, pretty good for a couple of months. Keep it up man.

    Thanks! I'll be sure to start paying more attention to poly count. I've heard keeping quality and low poly comes with lots of practice, so I suppose it's inspiration to keep going haha
