In this epic adventure, players take control of Eric, a first mate aboard the Ecuador, a vessel belonging to the Burning Sun Pirates. This tech demo will take players on an astonishing adventure, battling deadly creatures and scurrilous bosses.

As the Burning Sun pirate fleet is returning from a successful campaign, they encounter several hostile ships blockading the route home. As the rowdy pirates engage in a brutal and bloody sea battle, a spectral storm gathers rapidly, appearing seemingly from nowhere. As surviving crews try to flee, they are ensnared in the myriad of vicious whirlpools surrounding them.
As darkness begins to fade, Eric awakens to the violent roar of waves crashing against the towering rocks. Finding himself washed up on the shores of a distant island, he immediately ventures away from the desolate coast and towards the greenery of the forest further inland.
