I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to export high res mesh with smoothing groups intact and material colors for baking diffuse map in xnormal?
ive tried a few formats for exporting, i think last time i exported i got some smoothing groups to come in correctly but my materials never come into xnormal. maybe it doesn't work that way? anyone had any luck with this?
i really want to bake my material colors as diffuse and keep my smoothing groups in xnormal. cheers for any help.

You can export with vertex color and xNormal should let you bake those out.
As for exporting smooth groups, in your FBX I/O potions in modo's preferences, ensure you have export edge smoothing ticked.
