i also noticed that the rider model is full of tiny detail like modelled stitching but the largest surfaces of the bike are quite low-res with badly beveled edges. not a good base for those who intend to focus on texturing and rendering.
also UV's seem only to be contained in the .lxo file - or they get ommitted on import on the OBJ for some reason.

How much of the edits are we allowed to make on the mesh?
Please feel free to tweak to model and Re-UV, but keep the general structure and UV patch count similar (i.e. please don't drop down to 2-3 patches)
We're looking at what we can do to clean things up our end.

I like running contests. It's really fun to see what different people make of the same geometry.
