Hello,

(I’ve decided to re-post this ad instead of just updating it. Hope there’s no problem with that)

My name is António. I’m a 24 y/o Game Designer from Portugal and I come on behalf of NOEX, a small and “young” video game cooperative.
We at NOEX are all about working with a dynamic team, focused on making great games and amazing work!
Our first project – dubbed TOOLBOX, has been in development for some time now. There’s been a lot of iteration on the concept art dept. and the overall story but the project is moving steadily ahead.
Now we are moving towards a prototype and we are looking to add +2 modelers and +2 animators to our team (to work on the whole project and not just the prototype stage).

Note:
All team members have different occupations. Some work, some study, etc, so all are welcomed to join in.

About the game:
TOOLBOX is an action-adventure third-person shooter set in a futuristic sci-fi world, which will feature single player, multiplayer co-op and online multiplayer - though at the time being we’ll be focusing on single player.
The game focuses on the player and his reaction to the world. They will be given a great array of tools to use as they see fit. We seek to break free from “builds” and classes and really test the player’s creativity, skill and ingenuity to surpass the obstacles ahead in the world of TOOLBOX. The game allows for players to take on the challenges as they want, using their combination of weapons and even movements. It’s about your style; it’s about customizing your gameplay but most of all creating YOUR character.

About your role:
Modeler:
Modeling characters, accessories, weapons, props, etc;
+Plus
Creating UV maps and textures;
---
Animation:
Animating walks, runs, jumps, combat, etc;
+Plus
Rigging knowledge;

Qualifications:
- Have great aesthetic taste;
- Contribute with ideas and suggestions;
- Highly communicative;
- Is able to maintains schedules;
- Tremendous passion for games;
- Desire to work with a talented, passionate team;
NOTE: We do not ask for experience but a “must have” to apply is passion for games and game making.

We don’t have any funding (at the moment) but we’re aiming to have a strong prototype to launch a Kickstarter campaign with.

-There is no preference in what 3D software you might use; your tool is your own.
