HAALP!

Hi everyone!

just a quick question.I'm making a small town for a game in UDK...Should i model it in maya and then import all dat shet to UDK or just do it in UDK with the BSP brush?
really need some help guys

    From what I've seen, BSP is best for things like quickly designing levels and play testing them. If you are designing a level from mostly an artistic standpoint, maya has much more freedom. BSP is fine for things with lots of 90 degree angles that conform to grids. It doesn't matter too much which approach you take.

    Block out your environment with BSPs to get the layout right and then replace the BSPs with static meshes made in max or maya.
