Hi Everyone.
So i graduated fro my art course in juli and since then have been very busy applying for jobs. However, It isn't going very well. I was wondering whether anyone (Art directors and leads would be great) could take a look at my portfolio and tell me what issues they are having with it and what could be possible reasons for me not getting any positive reactions.
I would love suggestions for stuff that seems to be missing and would be a good addition to my portfolio. Im currently working on a high poly model of a T90 main battle tank which im hoping will help prove that I can produce both low and high poly work. after that is finished I was thinking of also doing an environment. again suggestions would be great.
The portfolio can be viewed at

Thanks for looking and thanks for the feedback!

So what I would do is have a separate page and cover image for each game you worked on during the internship.
If you have access to the models render out larger images and also use larger thumbnails, way to small atm.
Might consider removing the about me cover image and just have it as a entry at the top right bar, since people visiting your site is interested in your content first.
Also I think WIP sections in your portfolio is not very smart, that's what you have polycount threads or a blog for, you want to show your best work only.
Hope it is to some help
Can I delete this thread somehow btw? Ill repost the question over in Pimping and previews.
I would also show off the assets (still renders- geo, textures) for the destructible building scene- and then foot note it with the video...
Also, my monitor is a little on the darkside, and your site is still fairly eye jarring color wise..I would pull it back to a little bit darker than the background you have your assets rendered too (something like #3c3c3c)
Good Luck!
