Hey folks, I haven't done a proper human character from beginning to end in a LONG time. Recently I decided I wanted to finish one up after doing my beholder here. I didn't want to get too caught up in the idea development process and just wanted to build on something I love so I decided to do a character from the book "The Name of the Wind" and wanted to make Kvothe (the main character). I wanted to try something stylized but I'm just hitting slow slow roadblocks now and my progress has stalled a ton. So I come here to see where to push this to and get some fresh eyes.

Any suggestions or opinions would be awesome.

    I think the top half looks great but the bottom half is lacking a bit. Make the pants poof out more at the knees and add in the creases for the boot just above the ankle. Basically follow the concept a bit closer. Looks cool so far, though, can't wait to see it textured!

    looks good so far, my critique so far is your boots, right now they are coming off like really baggy socks. I would make a rigid more defined boot shape to strengthen the silhouette.
