Hey all, I'm kicking off a new series of tutorial videos called the Modeling Minute that are intended to be a quick, low commitment way of sharing some modeling ideas and maybe even starting discussions about alternative modeling techniques. I'll keep this thread up to date as I create more videos. Thanks for watching and feel free to let me know what you think here or on Twitter (
@davidmlally)!
I'd also love to hear any ideas for things you would like to see as a tutorial!

I think it would help if you label which software you're using at the start. First two are Maya, but that wouldn't be obvious unless you've already used Maya.
This is cool. I like it. Or maybe I just like that they're not the usual tutorials where the speaker talks like an Ent.
weeeeeelll, to bake a nooooormal maaaap, fiiiirst you'll haaaave to oooopen....

And I'd never played with the crease editor either, so this helped me get started.
Thanks!

I loathe long drawn out tutorials, so these short to the point ones are a boon.
Thanks to everyone that has been supporting these little tutorial videos on Vimeo as well. With CGHub shutting down, this is really the only place that I've posted them, so it's great to see them getting views even after all this time.
