Marmoset Mirrored UV issue

Hey PC for some strange reason I'm getting an issue when mirroring my Uvs for a particular part of my model. I'm doing a Tar-21 (http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=121771 )

after scouring the forums for a resolution I found a method of offsetting your mirroed uvs and that worked great for all the other mirrored parts of my gun but for some reason the picatinny rail won't mirror correctly without the normal map becoming inverted and a massive seam cutting it in half. here are some pics.
