Hi!
My name is Simon Lindwall. I am a concept artist, 3D artist and freelance illustrator. I mostly make character concepts, but I am working on my environment concepting skills. Feedback is much appreciated.

I made some 1960's inspired characters not long ago. I really enjoy researching these things. Hairstyles, uniforms, shoe fashion and work clothes I really love the 60's.

This week I have been working on some soldier concepts for my portfolio. It's hard trying to come up with interesting ways to use colour on these characters. They so easily become so boring, only khaki, green or grey.

I love making customization options for my character concepts. They become like cut-out dolls. It's very important to have good folder/layer hierarchy in the PSD when doing this. Becomes quite complex otherwise. Great fun!
