Hello Everyone!

My name is Zachary Winkler, I'm a 3D Character Artist from St. Augustine, Florida. I'm going to start posting my various works here, which will all be 100% open for any critiques. I'm looking to improve, and I can use all the help I can get from each of you. I hope you all enjoy my work, but if you don't feel free to say what's wrong!

Thought I'd start off with the last two things I made a few days ago. I'm trying to increase my sculpting speed so I did a couple 2-3 hours sculpts to try and achieve this.





A couple critiques I received was that the posing was weird, which I can totally see after the fact. For my future attempts I'll relax them more.

Do tell me what you think or what I should improve on the most!

Did a 3 hour sculpt tonight, wanted to do a Dwarf so I did!




I think I'm pretty pleased with what I achieved in the timeframe, tell me what you think guys!

Got a huge sketch dump from the last couple of weeks, I've had a lot of fun practicing muscles, alphas, hard surface, and face stuff, and I hope you all enjoy!

great sketchbook man, everything looks really great. the pants on the green character seem a little off though. in particular the creasing around his crotch area seems a little strange. it sort of looks like his junk is almost sucking up his pants.

ps that trex rocks, definitely inspiring me to try making some dino's in the near future.

Thanks a bunch for the reply man, I totally see what you mean. Pants/clothing aren't my strongest point, I should do some clothing practice in the near future to fix that.

Glad I could inspire you to make a dinosaur, I took a glance at your sketchbook topic, and your stuff is looking pretty great man


Also, to keep my topic updated, I did a self portrait in about an hour yesterday, since it seemed a lot of people were all doing it.



While the hair leaves a lot to be desired, one of the first thing I sculpted a couple years ago was a self portrait (It took a month and was terrible). So to see how far I've come is really nice to see

Did an hour bust for fun tonight, I did some basic hair stuff, not amazing but it's progress. Eyelids and lips are a lot easier to do now however so I'm pretty happy with that.

Hey guys! Got a couple more cool things for you dudes to see!

The first guy is gonna end up being a low poly texture project after I retopo it, based off Bob from Reboot. The second is a bust practice based on concept art.

Wrapping up this project so I figure it's a good place to pick things up from, the weapon is Boba Fett's EE-3, but with some Fortnite design flare.
