Where do you host your portfolio?

Hey guys.
I finally finished building my website, now it's a matter of finding a good hosting service.
So I was wondering, what web hosting services do you guys use? How do you like them, and would you recommend them to someone else?

For the time being I plan on purchasing a domain name from namecheap and hosting on hostgator which came recommended by a few people.
Any thoughts?

iv been using http://www.falcoda.co.uk/ for about a year now, i would recommend them, the package costs me £30 a year with a domain, its £18 without a domain but u get a free .UK domain so not too bad. post me a message if you want to know more

£7 for the domain, ~£20 per year for hosting. Their deals wax and wane constantly though.

On my personal website, naturally. Of course, I've transitioned into web design over the years, so having my own webspace is almost a given. Also, my present portfolio is focused on web-pages that I've worked on professionally, and has almost no 3D models. I have to prioritize when I'm looking for new employment.

I have used 1and1.com for years and never had a complaint.

One suggestion do not use hostgator.
The moment I signed up with them I received a ton of spam to an email that has never been publicly used before or ever received spam.

Plus their customer service is bad.

I use 1&1, seems fast enough, easy to set up, and it's pretty cheap.

Webfaction - as tech artist I like that they're Python developer friendly. Moved there from Dreamhost. It's a bit pricey but good service and features.

I use easyname.com. I have had no problems with them and they are relatively cheap. According to a friend of mine, they also answer really quickly if you contact them with issues or questions.
