Hey guys.
I finally finished building my website, now it's a matter of finding a good hosting service.
So I was wondering, what web hosting services do you guys use? How do you like them, and would you recommend them to someone else?
For the time being I plan on purchasing a domain name from namecheap and hosting on hostgator which came recommended by a few people.
Any thoughts?

Most of the time I've gotten emails way in advanced if there was planned downtime, which has maybe been once or twice over 2 years. You can get the basic package for 50% off if you use my referal link. http://www.holeinthewallhosting.com/referral.php?l=38348532013190934396399502

Been using Bluehost for years, always been happy with their service.
**Note: I skipped a few if I couldn't find information or if it was blocked at my work.

Anyone use them on here?

he gave me a great deal too ^_^
Think I pay around $12 a year; been with them 2 years so far and I have no complaints.
good times.
£7 for the domain, ~£20 per year for hosting. Their deals wax and wane constantly though.
Same
One suggestion do not use hostgator.
The moment I signed up with them I received a ton of spam to an email that has never been publicly used before or ever received spam.
Plus their customer service is bad.
I use 1&1, seems fast enough, easy to set up, and it's pretty cheap.
cheap, support is top notch! and have never had a problem for the 3 years i have been with them
I was going to add this thread to the wiki, but I can't figure how my user ID or email I used for it.
