Thesis - 3D scanning for game character

Hello there!
I am currently studying digital graphics in sweden, and we have just begun our final thesis. I have decided to learn more about the role as technical artist within the game industry.

So, in order to do all the things I want to try I needed a character. Though I am not really into character modelling.
Instead I decided to 3D scan a character using kinect, and beneath you can see the progress.
I must say I am impressed by the results and the speed.

Next to do is finishing the texture, build an exoskeleton and add some accessoires before I can rigg her.
I will add some more details about the thesis as well.

    I have begun the work on building an exo skeleton to the character:

    I have also finalized another character that I will use as a base for all the male characters for my crowd:

    This character was completed in about 2 days. He doesn't need too much of details since he will be in the background.
