Maya Poly Cube History question

So I'm watching this video from 0:00 - 1:25.

wenda111287 creates a cube mesh then tells the viewer to make sure their working units are set to centimeters (mine are). He goes into the Poly Cube History to change the mesh's dimensions to 128, 256, 128.
The Poly Cube History for my cube mesh are 1.939, 2.303, 1.966. If I try increasing these values to 128, 256, 128 the mesh becomes ginormous. Did I miss something? Any suggestions or ideas?
