Its been a long crazy awesome day here. A friend and I have just launched a project on Kickstarter. Its a 1st person puzzle game set in a world of silhouettes. We have been working hard at game design and indie stuff( business, marketing, day jobs - bills still need paid) for some time now and would love to have your support, even if all you can do is share our work, Everything goes a long way. kotaku just did an article on us its short and sweet. check us out.
If you have questions ask away here or back the project and ask there.
Interesting, I was a little disappointed not to see any game play of demonstration of design mechanics. I got the sense you guys had done a lot of work just building up the foundations of your project, but felt like the pitch lacked any demonstrations to really engage me. It currently feels like some high level ideas that have potential, but not enough to make a high level pitch. If I was to contribute to your project right now I'm not sure if I would know what game I was investing in. It feels like its nearly there but might have jumped the gun a little.
Yes you may be right about that, we need a stronger design mechanics pitch. We know we need to show more of the game off but we need to really jump in there and SHOW IT OFF. some of our feed back has been that people think it would be hard to interact and move around which is simply not the case, so we can tackle that as well.
