Zbrush tool missing

Hi.

I am modeling a base out of zsphere. I made an adaptiv skin and now I cant subdevide it. I have tried restart of program and computer, reinstall zbrush, remove all the costumization and still cant subdevide, not even with shortcutkeys.

I am thinking of starting over but I have a felling that it will not help. Does anyone have an idea of what the problem is and how to fix it?

export the mesh as obj, reimport, as a new tool and see if that fixes it.

if it does, you can now re-construct the lower subdivs and continue adding more,

I think I can still make out ZSketch, Rigging, and Topology in your tools menu. Make sure this is a polymesh (click makepolymesh3d), and not just a preview of the skin (toggled by hitting 'a'). Previews can only be subdivided once or twice.
