What's up guys, I'm working on a new environment and one of my walls has a circular window. I was looking for some help on going about creating the circle window or really round assets like the window without killing to many polys and still making it look good. My first attempt at a block out of the circle window came out pretty deceiving, an tips or ideas?

Step01:
I shift right click, making sure no object is selected, and I choose Maya's procedural poly cylinder. It comes default with 20 sides but you can change this, if you like, in the channel box or attribute editor.
Step02:
I delete the end caps.
Step03:
After selecting the edge I shift right click over it to bring up the marking menu with extrude edge and extrude outwards.
Step04:
I grab the verts that I want to be the top of my wall and switch to scale.
Step05:
I use the scale tool going back and forth until it forms a straight line. Does that make sense? Not sure about how to put that part into words.
Step06:
More the same
Step07:
I delete the rest of the cylinder that I don't need anymore.
Step08:
Optimization time. In vertex mode I select a vertex and shift right click to bring up a marking menu with merge vertex > merge vertex tool.
Step09:
I use merge vertex tool by dragging a vert towards the one I want to merge it with.

It's not free, but it's WELL worth the money.
